SGD's Taiwan
production base was first established in
1989 and moved to the current factory in
July 2000. Located in Kaohsiung,the largest
industrial center in Taiwan with convenient
transportation connections, Kaohsiung
Plant has brought SGD yet another strong reason
to be more confident in the intensive competition
of LCD industry.To accommodate the ever-growing
demands for new technology and volume,
SGD’s Kaohsiung Plant has modeled to a
new hybrid flow production line equipped
with one of the most advanced LCD module
assembling facilities in the world. Placing
quality and precision above all else
to create market leading LCD modules,Kaohsiung
Plant, upon approval for its ISO9001 certification,
will continue to strive to meet its customers'
needs and to exceed their expectations.In
addition toCOB, TAB, COG productions,Kaohsiung Plant
also features advanced capabilities like
COF (Chip on Flex) together with complete
state -of-the-art production lines that
perform all tasks under strict computerized
control, some 150 earnest people and a
well-organized management team.
SGD's China
production center is located in Gaobu Town,
Dongguan City, a hi-tech business intensive
city in Guangdong Province,China. Its convenient
location, disciplined quality policy,and completely
efficient production process bring SGD many
advantages to compete in the LCD industry.Currently
two TN, one STN lines are fully functioning
for the LCD panel production. On the LCD
module lines, Dongguan plant is equipped
with COB(Chip-on-Board),TAB (Tape Automated
Bonding), and COG(Chip-on-Glass) production
capabilities. Upon approval by DNV
of Europe for its ISO9002 certification,Dongguang
some 1,000 dedicated people, will continue developing
itself as a truly world-class LCD/LCM manufacturing
facility.
